Always Be Orienting

A reminder that orientation (model-making) isn't something you do just when you hit that part of the OODA loop. Your worldview is always shaping your perceptions (Observation, Reflexivity), so you need to (a) be conscious of that process (eg recognize that even what you think is "objective data" isn't quite/really), (b) be good at pattern-matching, and (c) be open to data that breaks your mental model. Is this expertise, taste, or both?
